Executive coaching is a one-on-one
experience in which Chalmers works with individuals
over a 60-90 day period, helping them to make
desired changes in their professional and/or personal
lives. Coaching revolves around supporting each
coached individual in becoming a more powerful
and competent observer of him or herself –this
is where everything begins. The establishment
of a context of trust and mutual respect is followed
by a series of conversations in which issues are
shared, new options are explored, new goals are
set and new commitments are made. The three primary
domains of language (internal and external conversations),
moods and emotions and physical body are all included
in this work. The key criterion for success in
coaching is RESULTS. Chalmers works with each
coached individual to enroll a network of support
– in the workplace and at home – for
helping to attain and maintain change over the
